Um, what is this site exactly?
Artnight 365 is a site and social media pages where we can all see what is going on in the brains & homes of creative people. Maybe you work in a cheerless cubicle but come home and create beauty. Maybe you put together fast, fun, throwaway art to wind down after the grind. Maybe you were told you painted an ugly picture in first grade and never picked up a brush again, but you secretly want to.
We all want to see what comes out of that brain into the world—and what it looks like while doing that.
Your visual record of your art can be de-identified, full on seeking recognition, or somewhere in the middle. It’s all okay! Your Artnight 365 contribution photo just has to be you, making something that someone out there would consider art.
Where do you work, how do you decide what lay down first, do you have a tiny space with a pencil or an elaborate set up? WE ALL WANT TO KNOW, and more importantly, to see!
How do you contribute to Artnight365? Well, because I am minimally educated in all things web, you can email me your pic, and any detail that you want to include or not include. You can also find us on FB and IG, all under Artnight365. If you are worried about proprietary images of your art being out there, please just post you working, or parts that you are okay being online, without restrictions. Please don’t post faces of those under 18, but children at work in their spaces are fine. Please do not send in pics for which you don’t have permission. This is early stages and just me putting together a website and some social media pages, so it is a work in progress. I may edit or distill your commentary or crop and adjust photos. The rest I will figure out as we go along.
